Difference between “Send an email notification (V3)” and “Send an email (V2)” action – Power Automate send email
Both the actions are responsible to send the email, however, both have different purposes and meanings, below I will list out the differences in terms of various objects of SharePoint:
Attachments: Power Automate send email
“Send an email notification (V3)” could add only one attachment to the email, but “Send an email (V2)” could add multiple attachments.
Sender Address: Power Automate send email
The send an email notification (v3) will send the email from Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.

On the other hand, the send an email (v2) will send the email from the flow connection user using which the flow was created.
Note:
- Even though the “send an email (v2)” action sends an email from the flow creator user email or the flow connector, we can configure the sender’s custom email address in the “send an email (v2) – Office 365 Outlook” action.
Number of emails limitation in terms of delivery of the email – Power Automate send email
The send an email notification (v3) can only send 100 emails every 24 hours.
The send an email notification (v2) can send 900 emails every 60 seconds.
How to fix the “If you want to unsubscribe from these emails, please use this form.” weird text below the email
If you use the “send an email notification (v3)” action below to the email we can see a weird text(I called it weird because most of us do not like to have this in the email but no out-of-the-box configurable option removes or hide it). So, as a quick fix to this problem, we should use the “send an email notification (v2)” action rather than using the “send an email notification (v3)” action.
Below is the example of when we use the “send an email notification (v3)” action we get the below text bottom of the email:
