Once we log in to the Microsoft 365 admin center home, now we can see the below “Support remote workers with Teams” setup card.

Note:
- If we don’t see the “Support remote workers with Teams” card at home page by default, we can add it by clicking on the “+Add card” link from the top horizontal menu.

- Teams is on for your organization.
- Check setup status for new Teams users
- Turn on guest access
How to check setup status for new Teams users?
The provision of each office 365 users with the Microsoft Teams need to do individually – so we need to check the setup status for new Team users.
So let’s learn how to do that -click on the “Check setup status for new Teams users” link from the “Support remote workers with Teams” screen displayed above.
Once we click on the “Check setup status for new Teams users” link, we will get into the “Teams setup status” page.
Here – we can see all the list of users and set up status or provisioned status with the Microsoft Teams. All the users set up status should be green color ticked like below.

Notes:
- Due to increased demand, it might take up to 24 hours to set up newly licensed users in Teams. Until then, you can’t assign Teams policies to them, and they might not have access to Teams features like calling and audio conferencing.

What is guest access in Microsft Teams?
As per Microsoft “Add people from outside your organization to your teams and channels in Microsoft Teams. You can invite anyone with a valid email address to participate as a guest in Teams with full access to team chats, meetings, and files.”
How to enable guest access in Microsoft Teams?
To enable guest access in Microsoft Teams – we need to follow the below steps:
Click on the “Manage Teams” button from the “Support remote workers with Teams” screen displayed above.
Then ensure below check checkboxes are selected in the Microsoft Teams (Manage Teams) screen:
- Turn on Microsoft Teams for all users
- Allow guest access in Teams

Click on the “Save Changes” button.
Note:
- Please allow a few hours for guest access changes to take effect.
- For additional team settings – you may click on the “Go to the Teams admin center to manage additional settings” link.
- Go to Teams admin center to manage which features guests can use.
